Thank You From The Laundry Room

A big thank you to everyone who helped make The Laundry Room Xmas Pop-Up such a huge success. We had a great response from all that visited and couldn't have done it without the help from our wonderful friends and family.

Thank you everyone.

A couple of photos from the weekend.

The Christmas tree laden with London Kills Me reclaimed-slate Christmas decorations. Plus, spot the Sue Whimster hares (sorry ladies and gentlemen these have now been sold).

The painting is a Kate Boxer and the suitcase on the left is full of lovely quilts from My Betty Blue.

David Hollington painting, candles from theBake Boutique, pottery from the wonderful Helen Beard and brilliant dog-print scarves from Lisa Bliss.

Katie adds some final touches to the front room.

The gorgeous Kristen, aka My Betty Blue, tucks into a well-earned glass of bubbly.

Jo cashes in on a wealthy local!

Watch this space as the Laundry Room are currently in talks about a new project coming soon.

Laura Gravestock's cocktail rings and beaded bands are from her majestic collection, inspired by the Elizabethan era.

Ruth Tomlinson is inspired by the idea of lifecycles and change in nature, in transience from birth to decay.

Raja and Rani will be providing us with sumptuous throws, scarves and cushion covers from India

Ali Nash uses antique beads and charms sourced from all over the World in her lovely jewellery

We love Beatrice Minns's handmade lampshades, they will make fabulous and original Christmas gifts

Annie Banian's delightful jewellery 'brings together elements of quintessentially English afternoon tea with sleek contemporary design.'

The Laundry Room, Marianna Kennedy

We are launching of The Laundry Room at Marianna Kennedy's beautiful and unique space in the heart of Spitalfields. Marianna is a Decorative Artist and Designer, check out this recent World of Interiors article to see more images of the house.

The Laundry Room, Willamina's pick of the month

Willamina loves these painted wood coasters from Peru. We're hoping to source some for our launch.

The Laundry Room, August Greetings

We'd really like to get Spitalfields Candle Company on board. They smell delectable, are 100% natural and we want to support local businesses.

David Hollington's paintings are inspired by Hindu myths and all of the incandescent beauty of India. We know that they will look beautiful in Marianna Kennedy's space.

Alexandra Mann is a Costume Designer and Artisan, her make up/wash bags are lovingly made from self-sourced materials.

Local Visual Artist Marenka Gabeler uses different media in her eclectic portfolio of work. We love her ink drawings of the children of the Jago inspired by Arthur Morrison's novel.

Bell & Spoon makes us smile, Sculptor Oona Ball incorporates everything from cows and acorns to victorian binoculars in her jewellery designs.
