Exciting News!!

Stop press...

The Laundry Room is returning for a month from 1st March 2012 at 21 Hackney Road, a beautifully restored shop very near the buzz of Shoreditch.

We are so excited about our new venture and hope you are too! As well as the return of some of The Laundry Room's favourite Makers and Designers including Sue Whimster, Helen Beard, Laura Gravestock and Ivory Jar we will be selling quality coffee, tasty cakes and savoury treats and a fantastic selection of prints.

Watch this space for more information, opening hours and news of the evening events we plan to hold, these will include a Friday evening, bubbly-fuelled, make-up and hair masterclass held by expert make-up artists.

Also we very much want to support our local designers, makers, cooks, artists and general creatives so if you think you can offer us something that we may like to sell from tea cosies to homemade jams then please do get in touch.

Thank You From The Laundry Room

A big thank you to everyone who helped make The Laundry Room Xmas Pop-Up such a huge success. We had a great response from all that visited and couldn't have done it without the help from our wonderful friends and family.

Thank you everyone.

A couple of photos from the weekend.

The Christmas tree laden with London Kills Me reclaimed-slate Christmas decorations. Plus, spot the Sue Whimster hares (sorry ladies and gentlemen these have now been sold).

The painting is a Kate Boxer and the suitcase on the left is full of lovely quilts from My Betty Blue.

David Hollington painting, candles from theBake Boutique, pottery from the wonderful Helen Beard and brilliant dog-print scarves from Lisa Bliss.

Katie adds some final touches to the front room.

The gorgeous Kristen, aka My Betty Blue, tucks into a well-earned glass of bubbly.
